Zionsville

What a fun season! We finished up 8-16 and 6th place of twelve teams. Many of the losses we were short on players. It is tough to win any game with six kids especially when the other team has twelve. We lost two heartbreakers: The first was against Brown County, our first game. We definitely should have won that one, I think the coach was to blame for that one. Then there is the last one. Another one pointer. We should have put Zionsville away early. I knew we were in trouble in the first quarter when we got sloppy and would not grab the loose ball. Block outs were scarce and they battered us under the boards.

I am convinced after all the games, and knowing the girls capability we should have finished third, behind HSE and Carmel. You can see some definite improvement in the last 11 games. Looking at those we are 6-5, so we finished on a winning note. It was a fun season. I hope everyone had some fun, and improved their game. I believe we developed team work and comraderey. I am proud of all of them!
