I don't know that these truly fall under the category of "Frequently
asked questions" but they are certainly good questions, and I think
others may benefit from the answers....

Our team will be participating in the AAU Nationals this years.
We had a couple questions. First, the team has prepared a banner and
we want to know if there will be a prize for best banner during the
ceremonies No, but I will think about that,
maybe we can figure something out. and; Second, will the
teams be exchanging "give aways" during the ceremonies?
Yes! Bring pins, buttons, whatever. We will
have a few minutes to exchange trinkets for athletes.

I wanted to have a practice on the 25th since most of my team
will be in town the 23-24. Can you recommend a local church, YMCA,
Middle School, that will rent to us cheap for about 2-3 hours in the
morning
and 2-3 hours that evening? I can get court
time in the High School @20 an hour. I can also put you in a sports
facility in Noblesville or Fishers, but it probably costs more.

I am an AAU rookie. We play in Michigan and are looking to get
into the DQT level tournament to see where we stand against the best
teams in Michigan. Is it possible to play in the Tournament that you
are hosting also or do we have to qualify in D2 level?
There are some new rules to consider this
year, the only thing that would prohibit you playing here in central
Indiana would be a top finish in your DQT that won you a Division
One bid. If you win a bid for D1, you can't play in ours. Our
tournaments are both May 1 – 3 and we can only enter one of them. We
will not be able to go to Louisiana no matter the outcome but would
entertain a car ride trip if we can. How much Is the entry fee?
650.00 Any other details that you can
provide would be very helpful. Visit our web
site. It will answer most ??s, if you have anything specific email
or call me.

Did you know that you may have up to five
pick up players for Division II Nationals? Did you know, that a
player from your club may participate in up to three National events
provided the dates do not conflict? See the
handbook
